It is always a bland response to everyone! Why do you keep responding to these reviews with the same response that answers nothing? Your answer never specifically addresses the specific problem. There are about 10,000 crossword puzzle apps out there and I just don’t want to feel ripped off.
If this gets fixed, I will keep playing but if not I will probably delete the app. I get so frustrated by this so of course I tried to “contact” them as instructed but the email address is bogus and does not work (just leads to an error message). Sometimes it also crashes just at the moment the jewels are going to be added and when you reboot-no added jewels at all. I feel like I got ripped off every time because I pay for no ads but watch them to earn jewels which I often never get. Unfortunately, approximately 2 out of every 5 times, you watch the add and the 25 never turns to 50. However, once you have 25 words, you get the option to watch an ad to double the jewels to 50. I also love the fact that you earn 25 jewels every time you tally up 25 words that weren’t in the puzzles. The puzzles are simple enough to be relaxing rather than frustrating. Love game but has glitch that steals credits I do really love the game, and it’s much more affordable than other in-app purchase games I’ve played. It just makes it more of a challenge so that you can affect the score, rather than having it be a predetermined outcome. That way you have to be sure to hit the right letter to get the medallion. I also wish that on the medallion days they would put the medallions more often on a letter that appears twice. Once you get 160 suns in a month, you can’t win any more gift boxes, but you get 5 gems per sun. I average 12 suns per puzzle, with my highest being 16. You have to figure out the words with the suns in the order it comes up or you won’t get the sun for that word. Sometimes I get it wrong, and lose the butterfly for that puzzle, but that’s part of the fun of playing a game- the challenge. Now I have scraps of paper with words written all over them, and sometimes have the whole puzzle figured out before entering a single word. The trick to doing well in the tournament is to play it like a crossword puzzle and play for the butterflies. The next best thing would be if it just wouldn’t let you select a tile with the butterfly, so no one could cheat. I found this out by accident, and haven’t done it since because I would feel pathetic cheating on a game. I wish that when you use the gavel to reveal a tile with a butterfly that it DIDN’T give you the butterfly without you getting the word right.
